Capacitance Level Transmitter

The level of liquids is sensed using a capacitance-level transmitter. It is possible to utilize a capacitance-level transmitter with both conductive and non-conductive liquids. It is available with a PTFE sleeve for enhanced insulation and high-temperature resistance in conductive tanks. When the liquid level changes, the dielectric value will change, changing the capacitance value proportionally to the liquid level. The insulated probe works as one electrode and the tank wall as another electrode. A reference probe is available to serve as the ground electrode in the case of nonconductive tanks.
