The percentage level indicator is used to determine the liquid level in a process or storage tank. The system consists of a Digital Level Indicator installed in the control room another easily accessible area, and a Percentage Level Sensor mounted inside the tank.
The Percentage Level Sensor is a magnetic float-operated level sensor having 10 set points, each of which corresponds to 10% of the tank depth. The output resistance of the sensor varies from zero U to 2.5 K U, increasing by 250 U for each set point.
