The differential pressure across the annulus area is constant, and the flow rate is determined as a function of the annulus area, making the ROTAMETER essentially a variable area flowmeter. The location of a float is shown for this area. Suitable for in-line installation with flanged or bolted connections, the wetted portions can be made out of a variety of materials. Sizes from 1/2″ to 4″ are offered. To meet customer needs, it is available in a variety of scale lengths (175-200 mm, 250 mm, and 500 mm).
Application
It is especially suitable for flow measurement of low flow rate, micro flow range, high temperature, and high pressure, corrosive, conductive or non-conductive medium. It is widely used in petroleum 、chemical、 food 、water treatment and other industries.
